REECE N.K. QUANSAH

 

Reece N.K. Quansah was born on September 5, 2005. He is the founder of SonicWhacker55.

The creation of SonicWhacker55 began in 2014 when a handful of YouTubers inspired Reece to start his own YouTube channel. Specifically, DisneyCarToys, Just4fun290, FunToys Collector, and Disney Toys Reviews' video on Play-Doh Poppin' Movie Snacks motivated him to create a YouTube channel. Additionally, Reece was particularly inspired by The Cute Mario Bros (MarioMario8989), SonicWorld35, SpinDashpro, and supertails1177 to make plush videos about Sonic and the Looney Tunes. On March 1st 2014, Reece, for the first time ever, created his YouTube channel by the name of Reece N.K Quansah. His first-ever video was “SpongeBob and Mickey at the park,“ uploaded 11 days after creating the channel. It also included plush videos of Sonic and the Looney Tunes, animations, comic dubs, and many random videos that would follow afterwards. However, on October 20, 2015, his channel was suspended after receiving three copyright strikes. Two of these were trailer parodies using SpongeBob characters based on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows & Twilight: Eclipse, and another was a plush video based on the Looney Tunes cartoon, “Stage Door Cartoon” This video, in particular, was ultimately the cause of the termination of the first channel, as around that time, Reece was unaware of how the copyright system worked. Reece N.K Quansah had 737+ subscribers, 300+ videos and 700,000+ video views. His most popular video on that channel was “Minion, SpongeBob and Patrick go swimming”, which amassed over 600,000 views. Two weeks before the YouTube channel was deleted, a Spanish channel called Reece N.K. Quansah España was created. Some of the old videos from the original channel, dubbed in Spanish, are still available to this day, but unfortunately, the channel has been abandoned since.

The day after the original channel was suspended, Reece created a new YouTube channel called Reece N.K. Quansah Cartoons. This channel featured similar videos to the previous one but didn’t perform as well, only gaining 100+ subscribers, uploading 300+ videos, and receiving 100,000+ video views. In 2016, he created two new channels: Reece N.K. Quansah France, which consisted of old videos from the original Cartoons channel dubbed in French. Another one was SonicandTails, which was a sketch channel consisting of comedy sketches that uploaded videos every Tuesday and Thursday. It was a channel similarly inspired by a YouTube channel called JesseAndMike. Unfortunately, on May 29, 2016, Reece N.K. Quansah Cartoons was terminated, presumably due to multiple copyright claims and possibly 1 or 2 copyright strikes. However, its fate remains unclear. Similarly, Reece N.K. Quansah France and SonicandTails were removed from YouTube. This may be due to their association with the same Google/Gmail account as Reece N.K. Quansah Cartoons.

A day later, after all the hassle and commotion that Reece would face, SonicWhacker55 was created on May 30, 2016. To this day, it is still going strong, having reached 800,000+ subscribers, 312,000,000+ video views, and over 730+ videos ongoing.

On November 1, 2017, Reece created his predecessor to SonicWhacker55, a Spanish channel named SonicWhacker55 España. This channel also featured dubbed Spanish videos, this time from SonicWhacker55. However, it only lasted two months before it rebranded as TailsWhacker55, which now features gaming videos, bloopers, deleted scenes, and behind-the-scenes videos from the main channel. Over a year later, on February 23, 2019, he created another channel, Whacky Cartoons, where he creates 2D and 3D animations based on whatever interests him.

SonicWhacker55 consists of plush videos, including Sonic, Mario, and the Looney Tunes, comic dubs, animations, and many more series of moments that will make you roll on the floor with laughter and fill you to the brim with enjoyment.
